Many here had a rough beginning of the year from the Los Angeles wildfires. Aside from lots of smoke and ash in the first few days, my family and I are good here in El Segundo. People over profits is a principle I’ve always lived by.
Having a strong talent pipeline is just as important, if not more so, than having a strong sales pipeline.
Sure, focusing solely on profits might give you great months, quarters, or even years. But long-term? It’s unsustainable. Why?
Because at some point, you’re going to plateau. And without a strong foundation of talented, motivated people to support your business, it’s only a matter of time before things unravel.
